Consulting sub-specialists?
There always seems to be a shortage of OCD specialists. I find myself wondering if we could consult with generalist practitioners to expand the availability of OCD treatment to the masses.
Say “no” to diagnosis soup!
I find it deeply frustrating when someone comes to me with 5+ mental health diagnoses. No I’m not mad at the client! But when practitioners keep piling on new labels without reevaluating their original diagnoses, it leaves clients feeling more “broken” than they are and doesn’t meaningfully communicate the client’s suffering.
